10.The invention of lying (2009)
Plot
The background of the film is an alternative reality where there is no lying.
Mark Bellison is a screenwriter. In the film industry, because there are no novels, it is limited to historical reading. One night he was dating the beautiful and wealthy Anna McDougs. She told Mark that she was not attracted to him because of his poor looks and financial situation, but he would go out with him and ask his best friend Greg Kleinschmidt for help .
The next day, Mark was fired for lack of interest in the film (which was filmed in a poor movie in the 14th century), and his landlord threatened to evict him from paying rent. Dejected, he went to the bank and closed his account. The teller told him the computer was off and asked how much money he had in his account. Then Mark had an epiphany that enabled him to tell the world's first lie, that is, he had $ 800 in his account (the amount owed to the landlord). He was then in a variety of other situations, initially for personal gain. He stopped police from arresting Greg for drunk driving, sabotaging bank deposits in a casino, and wrote a movie script that tells about the world invaded by aliens in the 14th century, claiming that all memories have been erased . The success of the film made him rich. Mark soon realized that lying could also be used to help others, such as preventing frustrated neighbor Frank Fossett from committing suicide. Soon after, Mark convinced Anna to go out with him again. She congratulated Mark for his financial success and acknowledged that he would be a good husband and father, but she was still not attracted to him.
Mark then received a phone call saying his mother Martha had a heart attack and rushed to the hospital. There, the doctor told him that Martha was going to die. She was afraid of death because she believed it would bring nothingness to eternity. Mark told her through tears that death brought a happy afterlife, introduced her to the concept of heaven, and she died of happiness. With the spread of imaginary news about death, Mark soon gained worldwide attention. With Anna's encouragement, he told the world through the "Ten Rules" (imitating the Ten Commandments) that he talked to "the man in the sky" who controlled everything and promised a generous return in a beautiful place after death. You do no more than three "bad things."
After some time, Anna and Mark were in the park together. Anna asked if he was married. He is now rich and famous and will make their children more physically attractive. Mark wanted to lie, but not because of his love for Anna, so he said "no". Meanwhile, Mark's rival, Brad Kessler, romantically chases Anna out of jealousy of Mark's success. Although Brad's selfishness and cruelty made Anna uncomfortable, she continued dating him and they were engaged. Before the wedding, Greg appeared and convinced Mark that he hadn't missed an opportunity with Anna. Mark reluctantly attended Anna and Brad's wedding, where he opposed marriage. However, the host told him that only men in the sky can stop the wedding. Both Brad and Anna asked Mark to ask "Man of the Sky", what Anna should do, but Mark refused to say anything and left I want Anna to choose. Anna went out and Mark acknowledged his ability to lie. Anna struggled to understand the concept and asked why he didn't lie to persuade her to marry him; Mark said it was "not countable." Anna admits that she loves him.
After some time, Anna and Mark were happily married to a son whose behavior seemed to have inherited his father's ability to lie.

Twelve years later, in 2018, the ship began to convey the message of aliens, attracting Brandon. He sleepwalked to the barn, trying to open the locked cellar, shouting information about the crafts, but Tory intervened and took him back to the house. The next day, while Brandon was trying to cut grass, it was difficult to start the lawn mower, accidentally mowing it into the air, and throwing it beyond 30 meters (100 feet). He approached it because it had flipped and was still running. Curious about his new ability, he stopped the electric blade with his hand.
Brandon showed great intelligence in his school, other students laughed at him, but a girl named Caitlin comforted him. When Catelyn's mother, Erica, was serving as a waitress, Brandon's twelveth birthday was celebrated by his parents' friends Noah and Meilelee. A shotgun, Kyle refused to let Brandon own it. Brandon insisted that he should have a rifle and behaved arrogantly, causing the scene, so Kyle and Tori immediately took him home. The next morning, Kyle suspected that Brandon chewed and broke the fork at breakfast, and it was his fault. Tori found photos of underwear and swimwear models, surgical drawings, and graphic photos of human organs in Brandon's room.
Brandon, Kyle and Tori went on a camping trip, and Kyle tried to get Brandon to talk about sexuality because he showed signs of adolescence. Encouraged by her father's advice, Brandon sneaked out of the camp to Caitlin's house and hid in her room until she noticed him.
When Kyle returned home, he watched the chicken in Brandon's frightened henhouse standing above the henhouse. Later that night, Kyle noticed that the hen's hen's hen house had been torn apart from its hinged door and slaughtered. Kyle insisted Brandon was responsible, but Tory insisted it was a wolf attack.
During a trust failure exercise at school, Brandon fell to Caitlin, but she didn't catch him and accused him of being a pervert. When she was forced to help him, Brandon suppressed her hands in retaliation. He was suspended and asked to meet with his school adviser, Aunt Merilee, but Erica demanded the arrest of Brandon. At home that night, Brandon was drawn to the boat again, and he broke the lock on the cellar door. When Tory floated above the floating open space, Tory interrupted him, shouting the information of the spacecraft, he fell down and cut on the spacecraft. This was his first injury. Tori reveals the truth of his arrival on Earth, Brandon leaves the ship in anger, and finally understands the ship's message: "Take the world away." Brandon developed thermal vision in his anger . Brandon visited Caitlin with flowers, and Caitlin told his mother that she was forbidden to talk to him. Brandon, wearing a red mask and cape, stalked her when Erica closed the restaurant and murdered her. The police investigated the scene and found a symbol that looked like two Bs drawn back to back on the window, and couldn't find Erica.
The next day at school, Brandon met with Merili, who told him that he must report progress to the police, but he threatened her not to do so. That night, Brandon followed Merrill in her house until she went to bed. Noah went home from the bar with Kyle and friends and found that Masked Brandon, who was hiding in the closet, threatened to tell his parents, prompting Brandon to slam. Frightened, Noah tried to escape by truck, but Brandon lifted the car and crashed Noah. He used Noah's blood to draw the same symbol from Erica's murder on the road. Brandon went home shirtless and told his parents that other students had ripped his shirt while playing football after school, but refused to give it to Tory.
Merilee called Kyle and Tori, and they rushed to the hospital to learn from the sad Merilee that Brandon had gone to her house, which contradicted Brandon's story about playing football. The next morning, Tory and Kyle informed Brandon of Noah's death, but Brandon did not respond, which alarmed Tory and angered Kyle. When Kyle sued Brandon and caught him, Brandon pushed him violently. Kyle found Brandon's blood-stained shirt and showed it to Tori, but she refused to believe that Brandon had killed Noah.
Kyle plans a hunting trip to kill Brandon. While Brandon was studying the Deer Trail, Kyle shot and killed him, but the bullet blasted off his head. Brandon killed Kyle with his eagerness. At the same time, the town sheriff arrived at Breez's house and asked Tori to see Brandon. Tory told Sheriff that Kyle and Brandon were not at home, so he showed Tory the symbols that Erica and Noah had discovered when they died. Tory claims to be ignorant and has seen Brandon draw this symbol before, but later found that Brandon's notebook contains disturbing illustrations of the murder and his "stealing world" information This made her realize that Kyle was right for Brandon. She tried to call Kyle, but Brandon answered the phone and informed Kyle that he was gone.
Brandon returned to his home and destroyed the house when Tori called the police, but Brandon brutally murdered the sheriff and his deputy. Tory kept in mind that the ship could hurt Brandon, so he ran to the barn. In the cellar, she found that Erica's dismembered body was nailed to the wall, surrounded by symbols in blood. Tori armed himself with a ship and stabbed Brandon in a hug, but when Brandon foresaw the attack, he would fail. Enraged, Brandon flew over Tory over the barn roof, over the clouds, and killed him. A plane flew towards Brandon and the scene was dark. The next day, police, paramedics and the FBI investigated the plane crash on the farm, which killed everyone. News reports said Brandon was the only surviving resident in the area.

As Michael drove, Jordan guided Casey to turn on a taillight to signal people in a nearby car. A woman who saw Casey waving her arm from the trunk of the car made a 9-1-1 call on a Phase II-enabled phone, allowing police to narrow the search. When Casey told Jordan that there was a paint can in his trunk, Jordan asked Casey to pour the paint out of the taillight hole. This caught the attention of another driver, Alan Denado, but Michael knocked him down with a shovel, assuming he was the dead in Casey's trunk.

6.Panic room (2002)
Plot
The recently divorced Meg Altman and her 11-year-old daughter Sarah moved to a four-story brownstone in the Upper West Side of New York City. The previous owner of the house was a reclusive millionaire who installed a "panic room" to protect residents from intruders. The perimeter of this room is protected by concrete and steel, with a thick steel door and an extensive security system with multiple surveillance cameras, a public address (P.A.) system and a separate telephone line. At night, the two moved into the house, the grandson of the former owner. Burnham, an employee of the home security company; they were locked in a $ 3 million bearer bond in the panic room's floor safe.
Junior miscalculated when the newcomer moved in, but he convinced Burnham not to continue the robbery. Meg woke up and happened to see three people on a video monitor in the panic room. Meg arrived at Sarah, and they entered the panic room, with the door locked almost in time. They can't call for help because the dedicated phone line is not connected. To disperse the two, Burnham pumped propane gas into the ventilation holes in the room. However, triggering Raoul triggers this number dangerously. Meg was unable to seal the vents, so the gas was ignited, and when she and Sarah covered themselves with a fire-resistant blanket, it exploded and was discharged into an outdoor room and caused a fire, causing a 2 degree burn to Georgia. The Altman made several attempts to seek help, including signaling flashlights to neighbours about failure. Meg plugs into the main phone line and calls her ex-husband Stephen, but the intruder cuts off the main line and ends the call abruptly.
All attempts to enter the room failed, Junior gave up the robbery and slipped away, and the money in the safe was much more than he instructed. As Junior was about to leave, Raoul shot him deadly, then forced Burnham to complete the robbery. Stephen arrived and was taken hostage immediately. Raoul beat him severely, ensuring that Meg could see it on surveillance cameras. Diabetes patient Sarah has seizures. Her emergency glucagon syringe is kept in her bedroom. Knowing that Meg wanted something outside, Raoul tricked Meg into thinking that it was safe to leave the panic room temporarily. When Burnham went to get Sarah's kit, Sarah found that Sarah was almost unconscious on the floor. After picking up the pill pack, Meg struggled briefly with Raoul, Raoul was thrown into the panic room, and his gun was knocked down from his hand. When Burnham locked himself, Raoul and Sarah in the house, Meg threw the kit into the panic room, Raoul's finger was smashed on the sliding steel door. Burnham didn't want to hurt anyone, gave Sarah an injection and told her he was just participating in a robbery to help his child. He told Megshara that it was all right.
Following Stephen's previous 911 call, two police officers arrived at the door. To protect Sarah, Meg convinced the officer to leave. Burnham opened the safe and found $ 22 million in bearer bonds. When the thief tried to leave with Sarah as a hostage, Meg installed a trap and caused an ambush. She knocked Raoul down on the railing with a sledgehammer and hit the stairwell. When Burnham fled, Raoul crawled back and overwhelmed Meg, preparing to slam her with a sledgehammer. Burnham heard Sara's scream back, shot at Raoul, and ran away. Alerted by Meg's previous bizarre behavior, police rushed to the scene and arrested Burnham, who dropped unsecured bonds fluttering in the wind.
Later, Meg and Sarah recovered from painful ordeal, and they searched for new homes in the newspaper.

After returning from a business trip in Hong Kong, Beth Emhoff made a stopover in Chicago to have sex with her ex-lover. Two days later, she fell from a seizure at her home in the suburbs of Minneapolis. Her husband Mitch Emhoff rushed her to the hospital but died of unknown cause. Mickey returned home and found that his step-son Clark had died of a similar illness. Mickey was isolated, but found to be immune. He was released and returned to the home of his teenage daughter, Jory.In Atlanta, representatives of the Department of Homeland Security met Dr. Ellis Cheever from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and expressed concern that the disease is a biological weapon designed to cause terrorist attacks on Thanksgiving weekend . Cheever sent Dr. Erin Mears, Outbreak Intelligence Service Officer, to Minneapolis for investigation. The outbreak of Mills goes back to Beth. She negotiates with local officials who are unwilling to invest resources in public health countermeasures. Mills was later infected and died. With the spread of the new virus, some cities have been isolated, robbed and violent.
At the CDC, Dr. Ally Hextall identified the virus as a mixture of genetic material from pig and bat-borne viruses. The work of treatment was halted because scientists could not find a cell culture in which the newly identified MEV-1 could grow. Ian Sussman, a professor at the University of California, San Francisco, violated Cheever's order to destroy its samples and used bat cells to identify available MEV-1 cell cultures. Hextall used this breakthrough to start vaccine development. Other scientists determined that the virus was transmitted by the iron worm, and when the virus mutated, its basic reproduction number was four. They predict that one in twelve of the world's population will be infected with a mortality rate of 25% to 30%.
Conspiracy theorist Alan Krumwiede posted a video about the virus on his blog. In one video, he claims that he has cured himself by using homeopathy of forsythia. Forsythia seekers overwhelmed the pharmacy. In a television interview, Krumwiede revealed that Cheever secretly told family and friends to leave Chicago before isolation. Cheever was told he would investigate him. Krumwiede was arrested for conspiracy and securities fraud by pretending to be sick to boost sales of forsythia.
Hextall uses attenuated viruses to identify possible vaccines. To reduce the time needed to obtain informed consent from infected patients, Hextall vaccinated himself with an experimental vaccine and visited the infected father. She was not infected with MEV-1 and the vaccine was declared successful. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) vaccinates by lot based on the date of birth. By this time, the death toll in the United States had reached 2.5 million and the global number had reached 26 million.
Earlier in Hong Kong, WHO epidemiologist Dr. Leonora Orantes and public health officials combed Beth's contact tapes at a Macau casino and identified them as index cases. Government official Sun Feng abducted Orantes to help her get MEV-1 vaccine for her village, where she stayed for several months. WHO officials provided them with the vaccine and released it. When Orantes learned that the vaccines given to the village were placebos, she ran to warn them.
In a flashback, a bulldozer knocked down a tree in a rainforest in China, disturbing some bats. A man finds a shelter in a pig farm and puts down a banana eaten by a pig. The pig was slaughtered and prepared by a chef at a casino in Macau. The chef shook hands with Beth to spread the virus to her.

4.The Truman show (1998)
Plot
Truman Burbank is the unquestionable star of The Truman Show, a live television show that is broadcast live worldwide without interruption. He spent his entire life in the seaside town of Seahaven Island. In fact, it is a huge area near Hollywood, equipped with advanced technology that simulates day and night and weather conditions, and is equipped with 5000 cameras to record every move of Truman. The producers discouraged Truman from leaving West Haven by making his television father's "death" full of fear during the "accidents" of rowing, and constantly broadcasting and printing information on the dangers of travel. All other residents of Seahaven are actors. The show's creator and executive producer, Christof, sought to capture Truman's true emotions and human behavior and provide viewers with a person who was relevant to him.
Although Christof can control it, he cannot predict all of Truman's actions. While in college, Truman originally wanted to meet and be a husband and wife with Meryl, but was fascinated by Sylvia. Sylvia warned him that his real world was false before being removed from the show. Truman was told she moved to Fiji with her father. As Truman continued to marry Meryl, he continued to think about Sylvia. He secretly reshaped her face with the debris from the magazine and sought a trip to Fiji. Beyond the show, Sylvia has become part of the "Free Truman" campaign, which calls for the end of the show and Truman's freedom, and accuses Christoph of making his life worse, but Christoph This is denied.
As the show progressed, Truman began to notice some unusual events: a spotlight fell from the sky; a radio frequency that accurately described his movements; and rain falling on him alone. Truman found a disheveled man and recognized him as his father. He secretly returned to the scene, but other actors quickly dragged him away. Although Meryl and Truman's best friend Malone worked hard to reassure him, Truman was more skeptical of his life. One day, he surprised Meryl with an impromptu trip, but their way was thwarted by an increasingly incredible emergency. Meryl started to get rid of stress. During a dispute with Truman, she destroyed her character and retired from the show. In order to bring Truman back under control, Christopher duly introduced Truman's father to the show under the guise of losing his memory after the boating accident. This helped the show regain the praise of the audience, and Truman seemed to return to normal, but he began to sleep in the basement.
One night, the production staff discovered that Truman was sleeping and was completely out of their sight. Malone was sent to inspect Truman and found that he had left a Yeti dummy and a tape recorder to play the sound of snoring sounds at his place, and disappeared through the temporary passage. Marlon broke the role, indicating that Truman was gone, and Christof requested that the show be broadcast for the first time in the history of the show, while searching for Truman across the city. Audiences around the world, including the media, are attracted by this sudden change. Truman was found sailing out of the harbour after conquering his fear of water, and Christof resumed broadcasting by sending an artificial thunderstorm trying to overturn the hull after an attempt to retrieve Truman failed. Network executives worried that Truman might die on live TV, but despite Christoph's boss and assistant asking him to end the show, Truman managed to hold on. Christopher realized that he couldn't persuade Truman anymore, so he ended the storm.
Truman continued to sail until his desperate ship hit the wall of the dome. He found an exit door, but Christof spoke directly to Truman through the speaker system, trying to persuade him to stay, saying "no more truth" in the real world, and by staying at his In the artificial world, he will have nothing to fear. Truman considered this and said, "In case I didn't see you ... good afternoon, good evening, good night," (previously his slogan), bowed and quit. The audience cheered for Truman, and the Sylvia game greeted him. The failed Christof's supervisor ended the show for the last time and viewers saw other content on TV.

In feudal Japan, twelve-year-old eyeliner Ku Kubo raised her sick mother Sariatu in a cave near a village. He relied on the shamisen music provided to villagers to manipulate origami in a magical way to make a living, and told the story of his missing father Samurai Hanzo. Kubo couldn't complete his story because he didn't know what happened to Hanzo, and Sariyatu couldn't recall the ending because of her mental state deterioration. Sariyatu warns him not to stay outside after dark, as her sisters Karasu and Washi and his grandfather Moon King (watching him when he was a baby) will find him and keep him left That eye.One day, Kubo learned about the Bon festival in the village and asked them to talk to their late relatives. Kubota was present but was angry that Hanzo had not appeared from the lantern and had forgotten to go home before sunset. Karasu and Washi quickly found him and launched an attack, but Sariatu suddenly appeared and used her magic to send Kubo away, telling him to find his father's armor.
Kubo woke up in a distant place and found the monkey-his wooden snow monkey charm-survived. The monkey told him that Sariatu was gone and the village was destroyed. With the help of Kubo ’s origami character, Kobanzo, they began to look for armor. Along the way, they encountered a beetle, an amnesia warrior, cursed as a spade beetle / human hybrid, but he believed he was an apprentice to Hanzo.
Kubo, the monkey and the beetle recovered the "indestructible sword" from a cave guarded by a giant skeleton. They took a leaf boat across the Long Lake and found "impermeable breastplates" underwater. Kubo and the Beatles swam down to retrieve it, and encountered a sea monster "garden of eyes". He first showed the victim secret eyes with multiple eyes to enter the victim, and then consumed them. Kubo was attracted to this creature, but when he entered, he realized that the monkey was the reincarnation of his mother. The Beatles rescued the unconscious Kubo and obtained the breastplate, but after returning to the ship, they found that the monkey was seriously injured during the fight and defeat of Karasu.
They went to the shore to retrieve it, and Sun Wukong explained that the Moon King ordered her and her sisters to kill Hanzo, but she fell in love with him, and the Moon King branded her with the enemy. That night, Kubo dreamed of meeting an elderly blind Raiden, who pointed him at the "invincible helmet" in the abandoned fortress of Hanzo. They headed there the next day, but it was too late, a trap set by Moon King and Wash. Washi revealed that the Beatles were Hanzo, and they cursed them to take Sariatu away from them and killed the Beatles. The monkey sacrificed himself, freeing up time for Kubo to use the shamisen to defeat Washi, breaking two of the three strings above. Little Hanzo provided an insight that the helmet was actually a village bell, and Kubo broke the last rope to get there quickly.
In the village, Kubo met Rayden, who met Rayden, who was regarded as the king of the moon. He offered to make Kubo's another look immortal, but Kubo refused. Raiden turned into a giant behemoth Moon Beast like Dunkleosteus and drove Kubo and the rest of the villagers to its graveyard. When Hanzo ’s armor proved ineffective, Kubo removed it and re-stringed the ukulele with his mother ’s hair, his father ’s bowstrings, and his own hair. He used this instrument to summon the spirit of the villagers' loved ones, showing the villagers that memory is the most powerful magic among all things and can never be destroyed. The magic of Kubo and the gods protected himself and the villagers from the Moon Beast, depriving him of his power and making him a mortal without any memory. Stimulated by Kubo's story, the villagers were compassionate and told Rayden that he was a man with many positive traits and accepted him into the village. During the subsequent Bon ceremony, Kubo was able to speak to the ghosts of his parents as they watched the lanterns of the deceased villagers turn into golden herons and flew towards the spiritual world.

2.Arrival (2016)
Plot
Hannah, the daughter of linguist Louise Banks, died of an incurable disease.
Twelve alien spacecraft hovered silently at different locations on Earth. Affected countries send military and scientific experts to monitor and research; in the United States, Colonel G.T. Weber recruits Banks and physicist Ian Donnelly to study spacecraft over Montana. On board, Banks and Donnelly contacted two seven-limbed aliens, who they called "Heptapods." Donnelly nicknamed them Abbott and Costello. They both began studying the written language of the alien's complex circular symbols and sharing the results with other countries. While Banks was learning the language, she began to have flashback-like visions for her daughter.
When Banks was able to build enough shared vocabularies to ask aliens why they came, they replied, "Provide weapons." However, China translated it into "use of weapons", prompting them to interrupt communication, and other countries followed suit. Banks argues that the symbols interpreted as "weapons" may mean "tools", and that Chinese translations may have resulted from their interaction with foreigners using the highly competitive winner-take-all game Mahjong.
Rogue soldiers bombed a plane in Montana. Unconsciously, the bank and Donnelly re-entered the alien ship, and the alien gave them an extremely complex message. Just before the bomb exploded, one of the aliens drove Donnelly and Banks out, leaving them unconscious. When they woke up, the military was preparing to evacuate in case of retaliation, and the spacecraft was out of reach.
Donnelly found that there was a time symbol throughout the message, and the text took up exactly one twelfth of the 3D space that the projection projected. Banks recommends that all information be allocated to twelve crafts, and aliens want all countries to share their learning experiences.
Chinese general Shang issued an ultimatum to his local alien spacecraft, asking it to leave China within 24 hours. Russia, Pakistan and Sudan have followed suit. With global panic, communications between international research teams have also ceased.
The bank did the crafts by itself, and then sent it off the transport bay. Abbott died of the explosion. Costello explained that they have come to help humanity, and in 3,000 years they will need human help. Banks realize that "weapons" are their language, which changes people's linear perception of time, enabling them to experience the "memory" of future events. Banks' vision of her daughter, Hannah, was actually a harbinger. Her daughter will not be born until sometime in the future.
When the bank evacuated the camp, it returned to the camp and told Donnelly that the foreign language was a "tool" in itself. Reflecting Sapier-Wolf's hypothesis about how language affects perception, those who master the language can perceive the future and the past. She has a trailer for a UN event to celebrate the newly discovered unity following the arrival of aliens. Here, Shang thanked her for persuading him to cancel the attack by calling his personal phone and memorizing his wife's immortal words: "War will not win, only widows." [10]
Currently, Banks has stolen a satellite phone from CIA agent Harpern, which was rare when the base was confiscated and made a call. The Chinese announced that they had stepped down and released their twelfth message. Other countries followed suit, with 12 spacecraft set off.
During the evacuation camp, Donnelly expressed his love for the bank. They talk about life choices and whether he will change life if he can see the future. Banks knew that, despite knowing their fate, she would agree to have a baby with him: Hannah would die, and Donnelly would leave them after revealing that he knew this.

Ki-jung died from his injuries and Ki-taek, who was wanted for Park's murder, disappeared. The motivation for the Geun-sae attack is a mystery to the public.
