Mulan is a 2020 American action movie directed by Niki Caro, by Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Lauren Directed by Lauren Hynek and Elizabeth Martin, produced by Walt Disney Pictures. This movie is adapted from Chinese folklore "Song of Mulan", a real-life adaptation of Disney's 1998 animated film of the same name. The film is starred by Liu Yifei, with Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li and Jet Li supporting roles.

The Mulan live-action remake plan began in 2010, but the plan never materialized. A new attempt was announced in March 2015, and Caro was appointed director in February 2017.
