Bad boys for life movie plot

Isabel Aretas, the widow of King Benito of Cartel, escaped from a Mexican prison with the help of his son Armando. Isabel sends Armando to Miami, instructing him to recover a large amount of money hidden by his father Benito and assassinate those responsible for his father's arrest and eventual death in prison people. Isabel asks Armando to finally kill Miami detective Mike Lowry.

In Miami, Mike and his partner Marcus Burnett gave birth to his first grandson. The aging Marcus wanted to spend more time with his family and told Mike that he was planning to retire, which annoyed Mike. At a party to celebrate Marcus' grandson, Mike was shot and killed by Armando for a few months. Isabel was sneered for targeting Mike first, and while Mike was recovering, Armando continued to assassinate other targets on his list.

After Mike recovered, he was determined to take revenge and tried to recruit Marcus, who is now retired, but that didn't happen. Mike violently obtained the identity of the arms dealer Booker Grassi from the whistleblower. Captain Howard realized that Mike would not obey orders to not participate in the investigation, and reluctantly allowed him to work with a high-tech, advanced Miami Metro Operations (AMMO) team led by Mike's ex-girlfriend Rita. When the team monitored Grasse through a arms trade, Mike determined that the buyer intended to kill Grasse and intervene, but failed to save him. Later, an old informer, Carver Remy, called Marcus and thought that the assassin was following him. Marcus contacted Mike and the two went to Carver, but it was too late to save him. Armando escaped after a fight with Mike.

Captain Howard later revealed that he was also planning to retire and suggested to Mike that he needed to find a way forward. A moment later, he was suddenly assassinated by Armando. The death of the captain took Marcus out of retirement, but he intended to work with AMMO. They followed Grasse's accountant, who took them to Lorenzo "Zway-Lo" Rodriguez. They infiltrated Zway-Lo's birthday party, leading to a destructive car chase. Armando took a helicopter to rescue Zway-Lo, but killed him while he prevented Armando from firing his ability to chase Mike. When he lined up to shoot, Armando told Mike "Hasta el Fuego". The sound of Marcus' shots obscured Mike, who fell on the bottom of the river.

Due to an operation failure, AMMO was closed. Privately, Mike revealed to Marcus that Armando might be his son. Prior to working with Marcus, Mike was a secret agent at the Aretas cartel, where he met Isabel. They fell in love and planned to run away with "Hasta el Fuego" as a secret slogan. Mike eventually remained loyal to the police, realizing how dangerous Isabel became. Despite Mike's opposition, Marcus and AMMO fought against him in Mexico City.

At Hildagor Palace, Mike met Isabel and scolded her to hide the truth from him. A gun battle soon broke between AMMO and Isabel's soldiers. Marcus fired the pilot of the Isabel support helicopter, which caused him to crash into the central hall and catch fire. Marcus confronts Isabel, and Mike tries to explain the truth to Armando. Armando started beating Mike, but he refused revenge. Isabel asked his mother for truth and confirmed to Armando that Mike was his father. Isabel accidentally shot Armando in the chest while aiming at Mike. Enraged, she tried to complete Mike, but Rita stepped in and shot Isabel, causing her to fall into the flame below.

Soon after, Rita was promoted to sheriff, and Mike and Marcus were appointed heads of AMMO. Mike visited a repentant Armando prison and offered him a chance to get redeemed. Armand accepted.
